Everything Repeats – Blackbook / Zink
I saw this cover today when I was at Equinox. I thought it reminded me of something, then I figured it out.
I had shot something similar to this in 2004 for Zink Magazine, a double page spread with different clothing of course etc, shot in my livingroom, styled by me and the makeup artist. Remarkably there is a resemblance, 7 years later, to this celebrity cover which probably had a nice budget. I still like mine better.
Ashley Greene is trying too hard – she looks stunned. The model in mine is relaxed and confident.
